Some stops put well-known hotspots like the Hendrik Conscience Square and the beguinage in a new light. Other, less obvious places such as the Permeke Library and a tattoo shop reveal more surprising links between Antwerp and the heart. NL De twaalf haltes op de wandelroute brengen een bredere waaier aan hartverhalen in kaart. Ze tonen de veelzijdigheid van het hart als symbool, niet alleen in de katholieke geschiedenis maar ook in kunst en populaire cultuur. Sommige haltes plaatsen bekende trekpleisters als het Hendrik Conscienceplein en het begijnhof in een nieuw licht, andere plekjes als de Permekebibliotheek en een tattooshop verrassen met hun gevoelsgeladen link met het hart.
